Transport

Where possible, we have detailed car parking and public bus routes for each walk.

A small charge will be made to cover any costs incurred when bus transport is necessary for the walk, and is detailed in the Walks Section. The charge is the same whether adult or child. This must be paid at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

Should you require transport for a group or for your holiday, hire cars and Minibus can be ordered online and delivered to your door - or collected from a rental depot anywhere in mainland U.K

Minibus and people carriers are excellent vehicles for transporting groups of walkers, collect from rental branches throughout Scotland or have a vehicle delivered to your door! Branches in Perth, Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow. 4 wheel drive hire and advice on driving 4x4 is also available throughout Scotland. Deliveries to Crieff or any address in mainland Scotland, England or Wales.

Off road driving in Scotland Drive through some of Perthsire's most beautiful places 'off road'! Give your legs a rest and let the 4 wheel drive off road vehicle climb the mountains for you on your day off from walking. 4 wheel drive Land Rovers, and quad bike riding in Perthshire, with specialist ATV instructors and individual off road tuition. A great day out, on that you will not forget.

From Perth, take the A85 west
From Stirling take the A9 then the A822 north
From Crianlarich and Loch Lomond National Park, take the A85 East
From Inverness and Pitlochry, take the A822 south

By bus to Crieff
From Perth, Bus number 15 direct and hourly during the day
From Stirling, Bus number 47

National express run bus routes from all over UK and provide an easy and cheap form of transport to Scotland. Online bus tickets can save you time and money.

By train
There are train stations at Perth and Dunblane using the ScotRail services. GNER trains from London Kings Cross also stop at Gleneagles train station, only a short taxi ride from Crieff. Cheap train tickets can be bought online at; Edinburgh transport search

By Air to Scotland
Edinburgh Airport is one hour away
Glasgow Airport is approximately one hour away
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is approximately one and a half hours away.
